Welcome to then 2nd lesson of MJC~! Let's see what Hakura has to say today.
The lesson starts with her introducing the words-saying that they are very common in English, she also says to pay very close attention to the pronunciation differences in Japanese & English.

( I remember from a Japanese book I read it explained how in English you mix sounds/letters together, but in Japanese you always say the same character, unlike the ph rule in phone. So you basically say each syllable out, but when you talk normal speed it sometimes doesn't sound that way.)

Karaoke 「ka.ra.o.ke」 カラオケ
Kamikaze 「ka.mi.ka.ze」 かみかぜ　（神風）
Karate 「ka.ra.te」 からて　（空手）
Anime 「a.ni.me」 アニメ
Manga 「man.ga」 まんが　（漫画）

After receiving the vocabulary she tells you that the sound wasn't the only thing that changed between the pronunciations, "In English, for example, manga & anime refer to certain styles of comics & cartoons. But in Japanese manga refers to ALL comics & anime refers to ALL cartoons. Also, most Japanese people don't use the word Kamikaze."

She then explains that romaji is what we call Japanese words written in English letters instead of Japanese characters, but we already knew that, and she says that a futon is a mattress that you sleep on in Japan, which she claims are very comfortable.

Next, it's time to play mini games and she says, "がんばって (ganbatte!) (Hang in there!)," tells you that how to pronounce Japanese words correctly is the sincerest form of flattery, & 'yells' at you to hurry & finish mastering the words so she can teach you more. So don't disappoint her!

Annnnnd, SCENE. Well that's it for the lesson, not much else to tell you aside from what I already have.

Do I really need to tell you how to do a word search? Well... You search for the romaji with the English as hints, but since they all look the same this lesson it isn't hard... Oh yeah, and need to get all 10 in 1:45.

Heh, heh... Umm what can I say? Listen to the Japanese version then say the word syllable by syllable till you can say it normal speed?

@タニア) Even as short & simple this lesson is, it is very important & helpful! When you start learning kana this will make matching the sounds & pronunciation so easy, so keep this lesson in mind for then. In English there is A [ay] then it's sound, A [ahh]. In Japanese Ka(か) [kah]'s sound is also [kah]. Easy!

Well then if I try pushing something else into this lesson I'll probably drop a chunk of my brain into this, xD. Just take this easy lesson as a break from the previous lesson, it's more like a follow up actually, Cx. Arigatou. Sayounara~!
